This learning activity from the Advanced Technology Environmental and Energy Center (ATEEC) is designed for students who already have background knowledge that could be applied to further study of real-life problems involving impurities of water. They will work with contaminated water samples, determine which contaminants are present and develop a procedure for cleaning the water. The lesson should require about one class session to complete.
