Description:

This paper describes the collaboration of Amherst Regional High School with faculty at the University of Massachusetts and Hampshire College to address the engineering and technology curricula. Plans to recruit and retain female students in this area are described including projects with an emphasis on assistive technologies and universal design as well as a variety of outreach activities between the institutions.
