Description:

Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth often face discrimination and other challenges in school settings. An Out for Equity program in Minnesota conducted a three year evaluation of interventions aimed at decreasing homophobia and improving the learning environment for LBGTQ students in middle school. This article provides an overview of project activities and a qualitative analysis of project outcomes.
