This resource outlines the procedure for the lab, Identifying Acids and Bases. This is actually a handout with blanks, which students fill in as the teacher describes the procedure, but you should be able to figure out what goes in the blanks. This resource is an early quiz on acids and bases. The quiz lists 12 substances and students tell whether it is an acid or base. Some are listed by common names, in which case the pH is given. Others are listed by chemical formula, in which case pH is not given. This includes 2 versions of the quiz with different questions but equivalent difficulty. The second one could be used for retakes or as a 'b' version to discourage cheating. I'm not sure whether this is meant to be given as a pre-requisite for doing the lab or as a quiz afterward.
