Reviewer Comments:

This resource is a good introduction and review of physical geography. Students participate in a variety of mapping activities and then apply what they have learned by looking at a significant historical event that was impacted by geography. Although the lesson is designed for a specific classroom at the middle school level, much of the lesson could be used with minor adjustments in a variety of Social Studies classes at both the middle and high school level.

Interesting way to teach geography for certain grades of students. I like teaching geography, because there are so many ways that could be used to engage students motivation of learning by using shapes, colours, and interactive map.
