Description:

Students read a folktale from the Congo and make connections to the Greek myths they have read.<p/> Objectives:<p/> 1) SWBAT compare and contrast the views of the gods from Greek myths with the view of the gods in a myth from the Congo.<p/> 2) SWBAT make connections that demonstrate what totally different cultures can have in common.<p/> <b><p>This resource is part of <a href="http://www.curriki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Coll_rmlucas/BeliefSystems">Unit 1: Belief Systems</a> and the <a href="http://www.curriki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Coll_rmlucas/SocialStudies7">Social Studies 7</a> course.</p></b>
