Lesson Plan

In this lesson, students create short, silent skits on Judaism. There are lots of handouts included here; I think it's everything you need. Objectives: 1) SWBAT identify important holidays and traditions in Judaism. 2) SWBAT make connections between the different branches of Judaism and the different types of church communities we see in the area around Gaston. Essential Question: "Who gets to decide what beliefs are a part of a religion?" This resource is part of Unit 1: Belief Systems and the Social Studies 7 course.
