Reviewer Comments:

This lesson is part of the Empire collection. The lesson has clear objectives and detailed procedures with time allotments and all of the necessary resources. There are a few specific classroom references that could easily be changed to make this usable in any classroom. The lesson includes a "Do Now" that teaches students a mnemonic device to learn the European countries that colonized Africa. It is a really useful strategy that could be applied to other areas. The peer editing resources are excellent and could easily be adapted for other writing assignments.
