Use the Lesson 7 exit slip to identify students who might need additional support making inferences. Pull these students three at a time and facilitate small-group work using this tool. Please note, if students do not have background knowledge about the Great Depression, you will want to change the second passage on this tool. Consider substituting a similar passage describing a time period or locale currently under discussion in students' Social Studies class. This resource is part of the Coming of Age Unit collection.
