Reviewer Comments:

This activity has students work with a cookie recipe to create different fractional amounts of batches. This real world activity allows students to practice fraction computations and can be enhanced by actually making the cookies. This is a great activity and can be modified in a number of ways (make enough for the entire class; school; 5 per student, etc). The lesson includes an example scenario, which can be helpful for placing students into groups.
