Students will analyze the decision process of choosing the "right" college and come up with a system that would select the college that is the best fit for each of them.

In this lesson students will gain an understanding of The Diary of Anne Frank/ The Holocaust and its themes of isolation, displacement, genocide etc.

To begin the lesson, students will reflect on what they think the characteristics of a civilization are. Then, as a class we will go over the different characteristics that the students came up with and discuss the different characteristics. The students will then break into groups and be randomly given a civilization. The groups will then research the civilization and put together some type of presentation to give to the class about their civilization and the characteristics that define it.

The purpose of this lesson plan is to teach high school students about the processes of learning and memory. After participating in this lesson, students should understand the biological and environmental influences on these processes, as well as how these processes affect the students’ lives. The procedure of the lesson plan involves instruction about learning and memory, using an interactive website for personal instruction about learning and memory, and creating a website to assess what each student has learned.

Arrange fractions, decimals, and percents on a number line

This lesson will help students further learn to analyze texts and compare them with their own thoughts and opinions. Also, students will learn to criticize books that have an outdated view point or biased opinion of certain situations.

The purpose of this lesson is to help students understand how they can analyze the consequences of their decisions on order to make the healthy decisions.

Lesson Plan #3

The purpose of this lesson is to expose students to multiple regions around the world and give students the opportunity to integrate technology in the presentation of their work. By allowing students to focus on one region, they will gain a deeper understanding of the physical and cultural characteristics and retain more information. For the presentation of this project, students will learn how share information using a Wiki.

Students will create a Prezi on what they believe to be the most important amendment to the Constitution.

In this lesson, the students will first define a problem to be studied from their own psychological or sociological experiences. Then they will gather reference materials, design an experiment (including defining the independent and dependent variables), collect data, organize their data, interpret the data in the forms of charts and graphs, and analyze the information. Lastly, they will make predictions about the data and defend their conclusions, making a video to present their findings.

This lesson would be ideal for a sixth grade science class. Students do not need prior knowledge of energy to complete this lesson. Students will work in alone and in groups to successful complete this lesson.

The purpose of this lesson is to have students be able to look at various ads or commercials and analyze them and how what they are viewing can impact them.

This lesson plan will challenge students to consider how novels/poems/films become literature. Students will discuss this phenomena using technology until several cause and effect relationships are found. Students will then express their chosen relationship through a digital story, created in groups of 4.
