This series of six books is intended for a one-year introductory course in physics of the type typically taken by biology majors. Algebra and trigonometry are used, and there are optional calculus-based sections. The books may be downloaded free of charge in printable format (PDF) or purchased in hard copy. Topics include Newtonian physics, conservation laws, vibrations and waves, electricity and magnetism, optics, and the modern revolution in physics. There are also links to instructor's materials and an answer checker, links to related books, and a list of colleges and universities that have adopted these texts.
