The student will review available data on material properties and pedigree information for materials of interest to our group. The student will be responsible for documenting the information in an on-line database. If the basic properties and pedigree information work is completed ahead of schedule, then the student will look at fitting various material models to test data and documenting those fits both in the on-line database and in short reports. Eligibility for Students: Provide documentation of acceptance into an undergraduate academic program. Enroll in and successfully complete a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester in an accredited college or university degree program Initially have and maintain a cumulative 2.8/4.0 GPA Major(s): Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or Material Science.
