Description:

The Southwest Center for Microsystems Education is a Regional Advanced Technology Education Center funded in part by the National Science Foundation. This page provides a powerpoint presentation as well as instructor and participant guides for the MEMS Innovators activity. Furthermore, three booklets used in the MEMS Innovators activity and a procedural checklist are included. The MEMS Innovators activity engages the participants in a team project to design and develop a MEMS component that can be used in a specific application. Each team builds a component using a variety of materials available in the kit. An order form is provided to order this kit. Visitors are encouraged to create an account and login in order to access the full set of resources.
