Description:

Students learn the art of making predictions by asking the following:  What do I already know?  What have I learned so far?  Before reading, we ask them to read the title and view the illustrations to make a prediction.  Throughout reading, we request for them to think about the following:  What will happen next?  After reading, they are confirming or adjusting their predictions.  To elaborate more on making predictions, please check out the "Making Predictions" PowerPoint created by Mathews Local School District.
