For teachers of grade 5, NCTM offers online resources, many interactive, that support teaching of the specific areas defined by NCTM as Focal Points. Focal points are clusters of related knowledge, skills, and concepts, and for Grade 5 they are Division of Whole Numbers, Fractions and Decimals and 3-D Shapes.
