Lessons Picciotto has used to help middle- and high-school teachers develop more depth of understanding of pre-college math. Most are based on ideas that are accessible to students, though not at the same depth. Included are concept analysis (function diagrams, iterating linear functions); problem analysis (staircases, pattern block trains); and formal development (abstract algebra, geometry of linear graphs).
