This 32-page booklet, written for parents and guardians of K-12th grade students in California, aims to encourage stronger, more informed parent support for math education. It presents straightforward information, suggestions, and resources for adults who wish to better understand the importance of mathematics and the role they can play in their children’s learning. The information comes from a variety of sources and represents today’s best thinking about how to help children learn mathematics.
