Description:

Users investigate the Cartesian coordinate system by navigating a robot through a mine field in this interactive Java Applet. The x- and y- axes create the playing field using all four quadrants (-10 to 10) where the goal is to get the robot to its target without hitting any mines. Options include setting the number of mines and randomizing the placement of beginning and ending points. An optional scoring feature allows users to track their performance.
