Lesson Plan

This is a lesson/unit plan on important principles of media design including principles such as shape, line, and texture. During the activity of this lesson, students will learn about design principles through an internet treasure hunt. The students are given a list of design principles and a list of websites that contain information about these design principles. With a partner, the students search for information about each design principle and then in their own words develop a definition for each principle. This is a Word document that links to various resources that are posted online. Some of these resources are stored in Google Docs and can be downloaded from there. The IA Project link will take you to a website that students can access to find instructions and download the worksheet for the assignment. The Quiz Review link will take you to a site operated by the Utah State Office of Education. This is an online quiz that I created under my account, but made public to anyone. Feel free to change this up as you see fit for your own classroom, and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
