This is an activity about observing. Learners will look for particular stars, their colors and brightnesses, as well as important constellations in the nighttime sky. They also will compare the relative brightness of the sky near towns to gauge the levels of light pollution. This activity requires a relatively clear night with unobstructed views of the sky. This is Actividad 6.1 as part of El Universo a Sus Pies, a Spanish-language curriculum, available for purchase.
