Description:

This resource is an introductory tutorial on capacitance, the property of an electric conductor to store an electric charge. It includes a brief history, simple descriptions of how capacitors work in series and parallel circuits, explanations of factors affecting capacitance, and examples of capacitors in action. The tutorial is accompanied by eight interactive java simulations that illustrate the concepts discussed.
