Currently numbering at more than 1,000 items, the collection aims to promote conceptual understanding of physics through visualization and interaction with digital models. The website also supports a robust collaborative community -- featuring a discussion board for each simulation, free software tools to create computer simulations, and tips for beginning Java programmers.
