This resource is an external link to the calculator part of a larger National Geographic site on freshwater ( http://environment.nationalgeographic.com/environment/freshwater ). This engaging calculator is appropriate for a wide age range (up through adults!) and focuses on water use in the categories of home, diet, energy, stuff, and ‘all.’ After the quiz, people are encouraged to pledge to reduce their water footprint.
