Description:

This interactive Earth science visualization for middle and high school students illustrates how clastic sedimentary rocks are formed. A short animation accompanied by text boxes demonstrates how minerals from seawater will cement sand grains together to form rock. Students are able to use control buttons to play, pause, and move forward and backward through the simulation. Copyright 2005 Eisenhower National Clearinghouse
