Description:

This animation shows middle and high school students how energy interacts with water during wave motion. The introduction explains that when wave energy travels through water, the water moves in a circular pattern. Students observe a beach ball bobbing up and down but otherwise remaining in the same general area. Movie controls allow students to repeat, pause, or step through the animation, which can give students more time to read the text and connect it with the images.
