Description:

In this activity, learners will use a series of satellite images of Yellowstone National Park to analyze regrowth and recovery after a major forest fire. They will then prepare a memo that explains which two sites near the Old Faithful Geyser that should be selected to study the recovery of forests after a fire. Links to the images are provided. This activity is part of the Event-Based Science (EBS): Remote Sensing Activities.
