Description:

In this activity, learners will analyze a satellite image of the Missouri River to find evidence that a river channel has changed position over time. They will then build a display, such as a poster or model, that identifies and describes the features that demonstrate channel movement. A link to the satellite image is provided. This activity is part of the Event-Based Science (EBS): Remote Sensing Activities.
