Description:

The One Million Lights Solar Energy curriculum at the High School level focuses on the science behind solar and its global applications. Students will get a chance to learn about the 1.3 billion people in the world who do not have access to clean energy and how solar is improving lives.  There are 3 lessons: an introduction to solar and its impact, a lab on figuring out the optimum angle and direction that panels need to be to produce the highest output and a 2 day or longer research based lab that gives students the opportunity to research and design their own solar product.
