Reviewer Comments:

This resource directs the student to create a booklet about a real person about whom the student has read a biography. The student designs the booklet to summarize the story of the person, relate the story to its historical context, evaluate the character traits of the person and review the content and writing of the book. The student is asked to keep a double entry journal every two chapters and an example of what that might look like is included. The student is asked to make connections, examine the author’s writing, make predictions for what is to come and track new vocabulary. Specific guidelines are included in this useful and usable resource.
