Description:

In this fun physics activity (page 9 of the pdf), learners take part in a paper airplane design challenge. They can be encouraged to try out different designs and discuss the best ones and why they worked. Designed as a pre- or post-visit lesson in connection to a trip to COSI science center, this activity is also great as a stand-alone exploration or a more general introduction to Newton's Laws.
