Reviewer Comments:

This resource has 5 parts. The first is the story and “the scoop” about each of 5 novels. There is also an external link to storysnoops.com which has the story and the scoop for more than 50 great books for elementary review. An alternative book report lesson asks students to make a menu, with different types of information and reaction in each section (appetizers, desserts, etc.) Another alternative to the book report is called Sell It. The students create a persuasive speech to get the class to read the book. Technology use and Podcasting is another alternative book report lesson, which is part of this resource. Finally, an external link to more options for alternative book reports is provided.
