Reviewer Comments:

This resource presents a project for students who have competed a reading and study of Catcher in the Rye. Students are asked to choose any 5 songs to describe the 5 most significant scenes to them in the book. The project asks them to show how and why the song is significant to them and the book. Students are asked to think, prepare and commit to interpretation and analysis. They are required to create a CD with the 5 songs they have chosen, lyrics for the songs, a summary of each scene with a highlighted quote and an explanation of why each scene was chosen.
