Description:

In this activity students, will investigate the thermodynamic properties of Antarctic snow domes, which are built as emergency shelters from the harsh Antarctic weather conditions. As part of the activity, the students will design, build and test the insulating properties of a model snow structure, graph and present their findings, and use technolgy to conduct their investigation and analyze the data.
