Graphic Organizer/Worksheet

This document is a word doc that can be manipulated to meet your children's needs or to add new ideas for your classroom.  Included are pages of what that sneaky elf did today that can be cut out and glued into the booklet for your students who cannot write.  For those who can, the information can be copied onto the board for them to copy onto paper and cut out and glue in the booklet.  If they can't write all of the statement, can they write some?  And what makes this valuable is to photograph the elf's antics each day, crop the picture, and make copies (even black and white ones) for your children to glue in the books.  They'll go home talking about what that silly elf did AND on the last day as they head home, they will have a whole journal to take home and keep of what the elf did in their classroom.  My students LOVE books like this that they can use to tell their parents what happened in school.  This is a great way to encourage language and to keep those little ones engaged.
