Description:

This is an activity about the Sun's position in the sky. Learners will use a clear plastic hemisphere to create a model of the sky and mark the position of the Sun in the sky on the hemisphere several times throughout the day. From this information, learners can determine the location of sunrise, sunset, and the Sun's height at noon. This activity can be repeated over the course of several days, weeks, and/or months.
