Reviewer Comments:

This asset is an interesting lesson plan in which students are provided with web resources to research information about poverty in America in preparation for writing a position paper. The lesson plan includes links to relevant articles although it should be noted that they are from 2004 and 2005 and the third and fourth links are not accessible. The overall idea of the lesson is very strong and it would be helpful to include more current articles as resources as well as have an opportunity for students to present their findings. This lesson could be used in a Current Issues course or as part of an Economics class.
