The Powell Center for Construction and Environment is a research organization at the University of Florida that fosters the implementation of sustainable practices in residental construction. It develops sustainable building codes for residential structures and offers seminars, symposia, professional conferences, and courses on sustainable development and sustainable building. Clearing house for information on green architecture and building are also available through the Powell Center.
