Description:

This interactive applet allows students to discover how probability can influence the outcome of a game. Learners control the winning and losing outcomes on a single die in a race between two cars. Data can be generated for individual rolls and races, or can be accumulated for any number of races. This game enables students to gain a deeper understanding of theoretical and experimental probability. Help tips for users and exploration questions for educators are provided.
