With this interactive Java applet, students use rectangular models to explore and practice division. The user can choose any whole number dividend less than 100 and a divisor; the applet graphically shows the quotient and any remainder and displays the related multiplication equation. In the "Test Me" option users are presented with division problems, which they represent visually and with an equation, and the opportunity to check their answers.
