Reviewer Comments:

This wonderful resource is a PowerPoint Presentation designed for 6th graders to acquire and use new vocabulary words. The lesson’s goal is vocabulary expansion. Eight words (tormented, frolicked, subtle, emerged, survey, inquired, meandering, hovered) are presented and then the student is asked to define each word and draw a visual representation of each word. Then, in a digital interactive section, the student is asked to match the word to a visual image of the word. Finally, the student matches the word to the definition in a computerized version of a work sheet.
