Description:

This HTML 5 webpage is a simple rocket motion simulator designed for classroom demonstration and discussion of concepts such inertia, gravity, orbital motion, Kepler's laws, etc. With a bit of practice, you can fly the rocket into lunar or solar orbit, geosynchronous orbit, and more. As of July 2013, Chrome, Safari, Opera and Internet Explorer all support the HTML 5 sliders used on the page, and Firefox intends to add support soon. Start by reading the instructions, and happy flying! (alternate URL: http://www.chrissabatke.fastmail.fm/rocket.html)
