Description:

A brief list of reasons for using a general rubric rather than many specific ones. This does not imply that one rubric should cover every type of student assignment, just that a rubric should be able to be used for similar types of assignments, allowing students to internalize the basic components of similar tasks. Included is a sample of a general rubric.
