Description:

The new GSE do not focus much on the American Indian Cultures prior to European settlement. This 3-day lesson introduces them to American Indians at the time of European settlement in a fun and creative way! Students go on a hunt to understand the Mississippian culture and not only learn how to collect vital information, analyze artifacts and pictures but in the end they create their own American Indian artifact.
