Description:

In this activity (2nd activity on the page), learners explore the sensitivity of their sense of touch. Learners arrange 10 pieces of sandpaper that have different grades (roughness) in order from smoothest to roughest. They compare their guesses to the correct grades written on the back of the papers to investigate how well their fingers (skin receptors) can detect different textures.
