Reviewer Comments:

This two part resource is designed to help students understand Shakespeare’s tragedies.  The first part describes the seven elements of tragedy: the tragic hero; the tragic flaw; the tragic “story;” the abnormal, the supernatural/fate/fortune/chance; tragic conflicts; the tragic pattern; and tragic structure in the plays.  The second part asks the students to design a tragic hero comic strip.  This is a collaborative project and tasks and roles for students are clear.  There is also a grade sheet provided.
