Description:

The Simple Foucault Precession Launcher package shows seven examples of a particle moving on a plane that is inclined at a fixed angle with respect to the xy plane and rotating at a constant angle with respect to the z axis. This simple system is used to model the rate of Foucault precession. The materials in this resource are described in an article titled "Foucault precession manifested in a simple system."
