Researchers from across the Smithsonian will meet online with teachers and students around the world for the FREE Smithsonian Online Education Conference: Problem Solving with Smithsonian Experts on April 13, 14, 28, and 29, 2010. The presenters show how they address big questions in their fields of expertise. The interactive format allows you and your class to contribute your own ideas. The third in a series of online education conferences, this free program includes both general interest sessions and sessions intended especially for teachers. An excellent professional development resource, the homepage for the online conference provides instructions on how to register for the free conference, the conference schedule and speakers, as well as general information about virtual conferences. Also included are a podcast, links to problem solving activities from across the Smithsonian Institution, and the related online student experience InterroBang. National Museum of American History
