Reviewer Comments:

This resource invites the student to complete a thoughtful worksheet before meeting in seminar. Designed to help the student clarify his or her thinking and summarize a particular reading, he or she is asked to identify new vocabulary words; quotations; and opinions; and key phrases regarding the subject, occasion, audience, purpose and speaker of the text. The student is then prepared to engage in meaningful dialogue about a text and refer to his or her notes created by completing this worksheet.
