Description:

This NASA site provides detailed directions for building a version of Hero's engine using a soda can. The main objective of this project is to show students, in a practical way, Newton's Laws of Motion. That is, how the force exerted on a can by the flow of water can make it rotate. Additionally NASA presents other types of engines and rockets that serve the purpose of illustrating physics to students.
